Leopard Frog Care Volunteer

Leopard Frog

We are in need of volunteers who would be interested in assisting faculty and graduate students conducting research on the state-endangered Northern Leopard Frog (Rana pipiens) and other amphibians of conservation concern in Washington. These individuals will help with ongoing care of a captive frog population and will assist with developing tanks, ponds, and breeding facilities at the E.H. Steffen Center on the Washington State University Pullman campus. The individual will learn how to manage a captive amphibian breeding and rearing program for the purpose of studying amphibian reintroduction techniques in Washington wetlands.
